The Elusive Genius Project

Rupert Laughton, a well-regarded music journalist, receives an unexpected call from Walter De Greu, an eccentric and mysterious billionaire art dealer. De Greu makes an intriguing proposal; Laughton is to travel around the world undertaking a series of exciting, mind expanding, yet arduous quests, each based upon a famous piece of pop or rock music. To complete each quest, Rupert must solve a series of devious puzzles using only his knowledge of the music itself and his own emotional resources. But not only that; he must interact with an array of colourful and mysterious characters that De Greu has placed there as part of each quest. As Rupert works his way through each quest, he experiences firsthand the emotional rollercoaster of creative genius. He must contend with everything from the stresses of an elaborate psychological experiment, to helping a beautiful and mysterious aspiring Japanese model and actress resolve her traumatic past. Can Rupert rise to the challenge?
