This book explores the biodiversity on Earth and describes the journey of humanity across the globe. It provides a vision of the multiple expansions of the human form in multiple waves of archaic and then anatomically modern humans from Africa to every continent on the planet. It discusses the many ways by which humans and human societies have sought to explain how they and the diverse living world came to be.

The ultimate goal of this book is to refute creationist strategies for their pseudo-scientific and -logical perspectives. It also intends to spur argument among creationist purveyors and provide armor for scientists seeking to argue with them.

Vincent M Cassone is interested in the mechanisms by which organisms tell time-time of day, time of year and even the passage of time from birth to death. In particular, his research asks how the circadian biological clock regulates complex behavior and physiology. Currently, the lab is studying how the circadian clock regulates the timing and complexity of avian bird song as well as the regulation of the gastrointestinal system in both birds and mammals.
