Editorial Reviews
Review
“Developing Global Leaders is a book which scholars and international managers have been waiting for. Blending tha work of an impressive group of North American and European writers, Mark Mendenhall, Torsten Kuehlmann, and Guenter Stahl have assembled a rich resource of information on current practices, critical processes and new developments concerning global leadership development which is a key driver of successful global enterprises. This book will be a valuable resource for researchers, MBA students, and managers.”-Peter J. Dowling University of Tasmania Australia
“If, as the authors suggest, leadership involves setting ideas, people, and organizations…in motion, ‘ they have indeed demonstrated such leadership themselves in this stimulating text. Putting aside the current rhetoric on the importance of global leadership, they have instead grappled substantively with the core issues facing multinational organizations. While we all once thought locally, we now must act globally. The editors have gathered an insightful group of authors who reflect on both the theory and practice of global leadership development. The result is that they have surely set new ideas, people, and organizations in motion!”-Janet M. Bennett, Ph.D. Director Intercultural Communication Institute

It also contains many what to do’ suggestions that will challenge and guide fast track program architects in internationalizing their international human resource devlopment strategies. Here is a wide range of useful, fascinating, and provocative mental constructs–products from mainly German thinking factories’ that are solidly founded in thorough and painstaking research.
