Introduction
This dissertation is as much about urban study as it is about its subjects, who themselves raise issues of ethnicity, culture, social fabric, commerce and economics. It is a personal impression of contemporary London, not a detached analysis. It is this personal approach that I hope will enrich and give an objective and perhaps unfamiliar perspective from the research that I have conducted, and the conclusions that I have come to.
The study also touches on the urban condition, stereotype threat, behavior confirmation, salary confirmation and the neuro-visual/neuro-audio programming effects of 1 dimensional media devices such as the television and cinema.
