The book is intended to help students of civil engineering and practicing civil engineers to understand the theoretical and practical aspects of concrete technology. About the Author
S.S. Bhavikatti studied at BVB College of Engineering and Technology for his BE (Civil) degree and obtained the degree from Karnatak University in 1963 securing 1st rank. He obtained ME (Stuct) degree from University of Roorkee (presently IIT Roorkee) in 1967 and PhD from IIT Delhi in 1977. He served NITK Surathkal in different positions like Head of Civil Engineering Department; Chairman, Centre for Continuing Education; Chairman, Central Computer Centre and Dean. He has also served SDM College of Engineering and Technology, Dharwad; Rao bahadur Y. Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College, Bellary (formerly Vijyanagar Engineering College) and B.V.B. College of Engineering & Technology, Hubli.
