Coffeehouse Theology

First-time author Jim Thomas, better known as the guitarist and co-songwriter in the duo Say-So, writes about the big perplexing questions that have arisen from open seminars he’s conducted around Christian teachings. In these forums, which he calls “Did Adam and Eve Have Belly Buttons?” Thomas has responded to honest questions about absolute truth, the existence of God, the problem of evil, the authority of the Bible and the person of Jesus.

With Coffeehouse Theology Thomas attempts to answer many of these basic challenges of faith, while never denigrating the role that doubt often plays in a person’s spiritual journey and growth. In a well-reasoned but conversational style, Thomas uses simple parables and stories to explore the deeper truths of the Christian faith and philosophy.

Coffeehouse does not pretend to be a final stop in intellectual and theological development; rather it seeks to induce right thinking on key issues while inviting a deeper investigation and exploration of Scripture, Christian apologetics and philosophy.
