About the Author
BARBARA V. SWOVELIN, MA, taught AP English and Honors classes at Torrey Pines High School in Del Mar, California, for thirty-four years. She is an experienced AP English Exam Reader and a College Board Consultant, working both nationally and internationally. Additionally, she prepares new AP English teachers at College Board Institutes and Workshops.
