The Chromatic Scale

The chromatic scale lies at the heart of all Western music. Everything builds from this solid base that dates back to 6BC. We won’t be going through a history lesson, though; we’ll be describing in simple terms what the chromatic scale is, why it’s important, and how you can play it on your guitar.

This is the first in the Guitar Theory Made Easy series of short guides aimed at helping you get your head (and fingers!) around music theory, and applying it MUSICALLY on your guitar.

Each guide will present the information in an easy-to-understand format, and will include reference diagrams. This is Theory Without Fluff!
