About the Author
Monica L. McCoy is an associate professor of psychology at Converse College in Spartanburg, SC. She received her Ph.D. in Experimental/Developmental Psychology, with a minor in Statistics, from the University of Wyoming. Dr. McCoy’s research focuses on determining what factors impact juror decisions in child maltreatment cases and she currently teaches a course on Child Abuse and Neglect.
Stefanie M. Keen is an assistant professor of psychology at the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg, SC. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University. Dr Keen is currently engaged in a research program related to the psychological effects of traumatic stress including child maltreatment, intimate partner violence, and military-related trauma and she currently teaches an undergraduate course on Child Abuse and Neglect.
