About the Author
Born in Baghdad in 1943, Fawzi Ibrahim has a unique academic background: electronic engineering (1961-64) and economics (1967-69). He spent 24 years on the national executive of the lecturers union NATFHE and acted as its national treasurer for nine years. Currently he is a trustee of the University and College Union. (UCU) Fawzi Ibrahim has written a number of books on electronics. This is his first book on political economy.
