Dr. Larry Deutsch, MD (“Dr. Larry”) is a family physician and hypnotherapist with over 35 years of experience and offices in Ottawa and New York City. He specializes in helping patients achieve optimum health. A leader in the area of hypnosis in medicine, Dr. Larry is a frequent speaker on the role of hypnotherapy in health at medical seminars throughout the world.
Dr. Larry began using hypnotherapy to help his pregnant patients achieve calm, natural childbirth. Once he saw the powerful results that hypnosis provided to expectant mothers, Dr. Larry expanded his hypnotherapy to other area of wellness and optimum health including: Weight Loss. Dr. Deutsch is a graduate of Cornell University and Dalhousie University’s Medical School.
Dr. Jeff Schweitzer, PhD
Dr. Jeff Schweitzer is a neurophysiologist, consultant and internationally recognized authority on ethics, conservation and development. He is the author of five books, including Calorie Wars: Fat, Fact and Fiction and A New Moral Code. Dr. Schweitzer is a Huffington Post contributor and speaks regularly at science conferences worldwide.
He served at the White House during the Clinton Administration as Assistant Director for International Affairs in the Office of Science and Technology Policy. In this position, Dr. Schweitzer was responsible for providing scientific and technological policy advice and analysis for Al Gore, President Clinton, and President Clinton’s Science Advisor, and for coordinating the U.S. government’s international science and technology cooperative initiatives. Dr. Schweitzer’s work has been fueled by his desire to introduce a stronger set of ethics into American efforts to improve the human condition worldwide.
Dr. Schweitzer earned his PhD from Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California, San Diego.
