Never have children. Never see my family again. How would they react if I were not here anymore? I shook my head, throwing out all of those thoughts from my brain. “Well, I guess I just wanted to…” In the darkness of the night and with the wind howling at my back, I heard a familiar voice respond, sending shivers down my spine. It was a voice I thought I would never hear.

About the Author
Brittany Vandehei was born and raised in Northern Utah, where she currently resides with her two children. She is a full time single mother and also a full time student at Weber State University where she has earned her Associates of Science Degree and working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and English. She enjoys a variety of outdoor recreational activities, but the activity she is most passionate about is becoming an accomplished young adult author. She is anxiously anticipating the release of her first series ”A Hunter’s Oath” which is scheduled to hit book shelves in the very near future as well as several others.
