The brotherhood of Odin

In the 870s, the ancient Pagan cult of initiated animal clad warriors was all but extinct on the European continent where the tyrannical terror of Christendom had dominated for centuries. Only in the Northlands did these ancient traditions still hold sway, and the cult of Odin was still warm at the end of the 9th Century.

The ritual dance of battle and the total ode to war was the creed of these feared men imitating the golden age when the Gods walked the earth.

The Brotherhood of Odin follows the young initiated ulfhedne-brothers Germund and Håvard from the kingdom of Agder as they battle their way through the blood-stained battlefields of Christian Europe to their culmination in the Danish campaign in Frisia, fighting the bestial horror of Christendom and the might of the cruel Frankish kingdoms with tooth and claw.
