About the Author
Nathan D. Zasler, MD, FAAPM&R, FAADEP, DAAPM is an internationally respected physician who specializes in acquired brain injury (ABI) care and neurorehabilitation. He is CEO and Medical Director of the Concussion Care Centre of Virginia, an outpatient neurorehabilitation practice specializing, as well as, Tree of Life, a transitional neurorehabilitation and long term care program for persons with ABI. Dr. Zasler is chief editor of the international scientific publications NeuroRehabilitation, The International Neurotrauma Letter, and Brain Injury. He currently serves as the Chairperson of the International Brain Injury Association.
||Douglas I. Katz, MD is a neurologist specializing in patients with traumatic brain injury. He has been at Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital for nearly 20 years where he is Medical Director of Brain Injury Programs. He is presently with Boston University Neurology Associates and Associate Professor of Neurology at Boston University School of Medicine.|Ross D. Zafonte, DO is Earle P. and Ida S .Charlton Professor and Chair Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School, Vice President Medical Affairs for The Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, and Chief Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Massachusetts General Hospital.
