Every page is packed with photos, articles, posters and images from the period and covers a massive range of musical styles from pop and rock to folk and blues to indie and punk to hardcore and doom metal to the dance scene.
Released as a companion to this book is a 6 CD box set, The Music 1988-1998, containing more than eight hours of music from over a hundred of the local artists featured.

About the Author
Matt Webster hails from Thackley, Bradford, and has been a drummer in numerous bands since the early 1980s, i cluding Western Dance, Grim, Zed, Primate and Plastic Letters. Matt is a graphic designer and recording engineer/producer, and co-founder of Mutiny 2000 Studios/Records. He was an occasional music reviewer for the Bradford Star in the early 1990s during his time working at the Telegraph & Argus where he also used to sneak various bits onto the Rock On page when no-one was looking. Matt was the original co-presenter of the Bradford Beat show on BCB from 1995 to 1999. He is currently recording and releasing records with his band Signia Alpha.
