I probably won’t venture into the more advanced second part of the book, but am really pleased with what I have learned so far.
I won’t waffle on, suffice to say if you need to add a bit of oomph to your playing using a book which is well written and illustrated then this is the one for you. It’s also good value too, as many other similar books (which are not in any way better) cost substantially more.

Really good way to learn barre chords very quickly!This is an excellent and comprehensive instruction on how barre chords are formed from a very logical perspective. By teaching it this way, the material is so quickly learned. I have played barre chords before but did not know how they were formed from the underlying notes and only knew a few and always forgot where they were on the fretboard. This little booklet was such a quick and effortless read and I now understand and have learned how to play barre chords all over the fretboard. For anyone who wants to dial their guitar playing up a notch by learning a simpler way to play and understand barre chords, this book will help you get there very quickly. I read the first half of the book in about an hour and then went back and started to work along with it and I had barre chords figured out in 1 day. This lesson is well written and laid out well which was such a nice surprise and allowed me to instantly start playing dozens of barre chords without needing to memorize too much.
