Joan Wester Anderson tells of a neighborhood’s outrage when a home is vandalized because of the menorah displayed in the window. Although it was the only Jewish household on the block, the next night all of the neighbors spontaneously placed menorahs in their windows in solidarity. In Angels We Have Heard on High we meet families who have no money for gifts and how this plight becomes a blessing. We hear of angel sightings and tender mercies that warm freezing children and guide lost hunters.
