About the Author

Dr. Flota is a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. He completed his Ph.D. at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C.in 2006. His work has appeared in the pages of Interdisciplinary Humanities, The Richard Wright Newsletter, and in the collection African American Humor.
