About the Author
Sam Powell has worked with horses all of his life, and learned much about their culture and “language” by studying horses in the wild. Powell has worked with some of the most prestigious ranches and universities coast to coast and around the world, including D. Wayne Lucas’s racing stables, the Hana Ranch in Hawaii, Oklahoma and Middle Tennessee State Universities. His ability to communicate with all types of horsemen and women is unequaled. He is an equine influencial for Purina Mills, Inc. and his TEACHING BY ASKING clinics draw large audiences throughout the U.S. and abroad. He is a guest instructor for Oklahoma State University Horse Production Program, a clinician and safety advisor for equine activities for Continental Grain and Brookover Feedyards.
