About the Author
Robert I. Desourdis, Jr. is a senior systems architect at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). He holds an M.S. in technology and policy from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.S. in electrical engineering and B.S. in mathematics from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is also the coauthor of Emerging Public Safety Wireless Communication Systems (Artech House, 2002).
