Yuan songs, together with Tang poetry, Song lyrics, are masterpieces created by the Chinese people from the seventh to the fourteenth centuries. Yuan songs may be classified into three types, namely, short song, song sequence and dramatic song. Due to lack of space, this book only includes the former two.
