Nico Roymans is professor of West European archaeology at the VU University in Amsterdam.
Stijn Heeren is assistant professor of Roman and early medieval archaeology at the VU University of Amsterdam. Wim De Clercq is professor of Roman and medieval archaeology at Ghent University.
