Book Description
This series aims to catalyze and showcase social research that is built on engagement and interaction at the ground level in Southeast Europe. The INFORM project examined informal practices in Southeast European societies, studying the ways in which people accomplish the necessary tasks of life in an environment where formal institutions fail to meet their needs. The analysis problematises Europeanisation as an instance of superficial and incomplete implementation of imported systems of legal organisation.
