About the Author
Rodziana Mohamed Razali (LL.B. (Hons)(IIUM), LL.M.(Melboue), Ph.D.(UKM)), holds a lectureship position at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia and has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of law, including inteational law, migration law, and human rights. She was admitted as Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2016 and previously served in the Malaysian Judicial and Legal Service. In 2018, she was awarded the Aold and Steinberg Postdoctoral Fellowship in Inteational Migration Law and Policy by McGill University, Canada. Her research interests include legal Identity and prevention of statelessness, migration law and policy, and refugee protection. She leads research and consultation projects in her fields of interest for inteational and national institutions and has notably worked with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Malaysia, UNICEF Malaysia and Centre for Human Rights and Advocacy or CENTHRA.
